KENNETH ENGLISH Obituary
Kenneth E. English, age 73, of West Grove, PA passed away peacefully in his sleep at Manor Care Nursing Home on Saturday, October 20, 2007.
After serving nearly 4 years in the United States Air Force, Ken began his career as an educator for Red Clay School District at Stanton and Skyline Middle Schools until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, gardening and was proud to have obtained his private pilots license earlier in life. He had a great sense of humor and one of his greatest delights was making others laugh.
Mr. English is survived by his 3 children; Karen Culley and husband Henry, Kevin English and wife Eve and Kenny English and fiancé Gale. He also leaves to cherish his memory his loving companion of 25 years Betty Jordan. He leaves behind him 9 grandchildren and Betty's son Curt Jordan. He was Pop-pop to her 6 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, all of whom he dearly loved.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing in celebration of Kenneth's life on Thursday, October 25, from 9-10 am, at Beeson Funeral Home of Newark (Fox Run). Funeral service will follow at 10 am. Interment will follow immediately at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
